Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition을 다운로드해서 설치해보자.
MS SQL 공부하기 참 좋다 ㅋㅋ

자.. 그렇게 하고 나면, 이런 페이지가 나온다.

일단은 가차없이 밑으로 내려서
SQL Server 2005 Express Edition을 다운로드 받자!

내 경우에는.. SQL Server 2005 Express Edition with Advanced Services SP2를
받아서 설치했다.

음.. 사실 여기서 보면, .NET Framework 2.0 이 없으면 먼저 깔라고 한다.
그런데 install the .NET Framework 2.0 을 누르고서는..
난 실제 다운로드 페이지를 찾을 수 없었다.

SQL Server 2005를 설치하려 했을때,
.NET Framework 2.0 을 먼저 설치 하라는 메세지를 만난다면..
아래 링크에 가서 적절한 언어로 다운로드 받아서 설치하면 된다.

다운로드를 받는 중에 밑에있는
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition Toolkit 이녀석이 뭔가..
하고 한번 읽어봤다.

SQL Server Express Toolkit provides tools and resources to manage Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition, and to create reports by using SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services. The kit includes Connectivity Components, Business Intelligence Development Studio, Management Studio Express, and a Software Development Kit. To create reports by using Reporting Services, you must use Business Intelligence Development Studio.

읽어 보니 Report 기능을 지원해주기는 하는데,
그 Report 기능이 connectivity components 와 BI Dev Studio 라고 한다.
Management Studio랑 SDK 도 있다고 하네?
호오.. 어떻게 생긴 놈인지 한번 보고싶다.
특히 요즘처럼, BI가 강조되는 시대에.. 3rd party 툴이 아닌 DBMS 자체에 있는 Report 기능이라..
